The installation of new, energy-efficient power supplies throughout the company, the use of a roof-mounted PV system and the refurbishment of our company building are just some of our initiatives to minimise our ecological footprint. Together, we are advocating for a greener future for drive technology.

Electric motors in our company fleet

We have expanded our company fleet. As a manufacturer of electric motors, we consistently focus on electric drives. We use the Tesla Model 3 and the VW e-Up for corporate travel and business trips.

The entire roof of our company building (approx. 2,350 m²) is equipped with a photovoltaic system, which covers a large portion of our energy requirements. All of the energy we generate is utilised to run our production facility and our offices.

Participation in the energy audit

In accordance with §8 of the German Energy Services Act (EDL-G), we have carried out an energy audit on the basis of DIN EN 16247-1. The aim of the federal government’s energy audit is to improve energy efficiency and reduce energy consumption under expert supervision.

Energy savings through new power supply units

We rely on cutting-edge technology for our new servers. Our extremely efficient system is based on the latest storage technology. Not only is the new system ten times faster than its predecessor, it also includes server power supply units that are 94% energy efficient.

Natural light thanks to a domed roof

To meet the needs of both our employees and the environment, we have renovated our domed roof. It allows natural daylight to enter and illuminate our entire production hall, resulting in energy savings. Thanks to the additional insulation on the flat roof, we now use energy even more efficiently.

Ceiling fans for heat circulation

Our upgraded ceiling fans enable us to circulate warm air throughout our production buildings. In summer, they are used to direct the fresh air that flows into our production facility through the open domed roof to provide the necessary cooling. In winter, they help us to lower our heating costs by ensuring efficient distribution of the heated air.
