Magnetic operating principle
All Kern brakes and clutches utilise the interaction of magnetic poles either directly or indirectly. The magnetic fields are generated either by high-energy neodymium magnets or by magnetic coils.
Infinitely variable torque
Alongside our fixed-torque brakes and clutches, we also offer series with continuously adjustable torque levels. These models can be adjusted both mechanically and via the electric current.
